I am lucky enough to marry someone who has the same hobbies and interests like gardening. We started to have our garden around the pandemic time. We were still living in Uncle Pino's house(hubby's uncle).
Here are the photos of our garden before.
Hubby harvested his Pechay
Our eggplants planted in empty cement sacks
our tomatoes also planted in empty cement sacks
Bell peppers
Our very first bitter gourd garden
Now that we are living in our own house we continue planting different kinds of available vegetables and spices.
We had Kangkong(Philippines Spinach) planted in our front yard before yet my husband decided to take them off coz it causes a lot of snails to live in it. It harm other plants we had near Kangkong. Hubby started to plant one tomato that he just found in our drainage area.

The first 2 tomato plants of my husband. You can also see the Oregano and the lemongrass at the back.
We also have two sword pepper planted in a pot. My mom gave me the pepper seeds because she knows that I love to produce anything at home. At first, I didn't know that the seeds would grow because I just put the seeds in the pot where I planted my ginger. Out of all the seeds, only 2 grow successfully.
Now hubby found another tomato plant near our drainage area. He is happy to have another tomato plant. Since he wanted to have more tomato plants and maybe sell the tomato fruits after he decided to plant the seeds from his first tomato plant. Now he has more tomato plants in our front yard.
more tomato plants from my husband. You can see our Malungay Tree too.
see how many tomato fruits there are? it's a lot and we cannot consume all of them.
We also had spring onions in our front yard planted in a pot and in empty bottled water. My husband continues growing spring onions as he sells some of them.
hubby had to move his spring onions to the other side of our front yard since he needed the old space for his new plant tomatoes
Many people ask us what we added to our spring onion and why it grows healthier. I learned about this organic fertilizer from my Nanay(Grandma). Nanay used to water her eggplant with human urine mixed with water. No wonder her eggplants grow healthier.
We also use Human urine as a fertilizer on our Malunggay tree that's why it grows healthier and it has greener and bigger leaves. We also use it on our other plants at home like our Avocado tree and the herbal plant we have at home.
We also had our lemongrass and oregano plants in our front yard. Hubby decided to plant some oregano because we all know that it can be used for coughs as much as we wanted to use herbal medicine for any mild illness we have.
I also have some lemonsito (Philippine lemon) potting. It's been a while since it grows in the pot where I plant flowers, so I transferred them to the empty plastic bottle of soft drinks.
Since hubby is working in Agriculture, he can ask for some seedlings he wanted to plant at home. Now we have more seedlings at home waiting to be planted.
Tomato, squash, eggplant, sword pepper, and bell pepper seedlings
He also got lemon and rambutan potting from his workplace. I know plants or trees like Avocado and rambutan will take years before they will bear fruits but I know it will be worth the wait and worth the effort.
Avocado tree given by my Mom.We planted it around August this year.

**Ending thoughts
**
In order for us to save a little bit from buying everything in the market we opted to plant whatever was available. Now I am planning to buy more seeds online since I don't have much time to go to the city. I am planning to buy more vegetable seeds not only for us to consume but hopefully sell some of them. I am also planning to buy some flower seeds cause I want to have a flower garden at home. Seeing those beautiful flowers makes me happy.
Wish I could have more time to plant but I am a working mom who works 6 days a week and I only have Sunday as my day off.
