Children love flying kites, and I was thinking this is something easy they can all make in class.
Kites are very easy to make at a low cost. For teachers who need to do some arts and crafts this is such an easy one. When it is time to go to the playground they can proudlly show all the other children what they made.
Kids will learn the following skills
- Measuring
- Hand eye coordination
What the students will need:
- Cellotape
- Kebab sticks
- Plastic bag( Just make sure that they use this safely)
- Cardboard for the template
- String
It is very important for kids to learn how to measure something, and this is such an easy way to teach them.
Let them measure their template out of cardboard and then measure the kebab sticks too. Now we have measuring covered as well as hand and eye coordination.
It is so easy to teach kids in a friendly enviroment without them realising that they are actually learning something. To them it will just feel like something fun to do and show the other children what they made themselves.
