I was thinking that it is so important for children to know where the thing that they love so much come from.
It is so wonderful to see how they tap the syrup from the trees.
I wonder how many children knew that maple syrup comes from a tree.
this video explain it very nicely and it might be very good to show them as it is very interesting.
We always just buy our syrup and put it on our waffles, not thinking where it comes from.
If we start teaching children these things, they might just start thinking about other things that they want to learn about, and ask you to help them.
Teachers who have computers in their classroom can show this to children as well, and the teacher might be very surprised at the reaction they are getting.
Children can have a outing one day and go and eat waffles and see the difference between golden syrup and maple syrup.
