It has been announced that there will be a release of a new bacon backed cryptocurrency. Just when I thought there couldn't be another stupid idea. This one takes the cake. Oscar mayer has announced that they will be releasing a new crypto-currency backed by bacon.
When I first read this, I thought it was a joke. Turns out, this is real. The "bacoin", as they call it, is Oscar Mayers new crypto-currency. The currency is backed by bacon.
I love bacon. I guess on that note, maybe it isn't such a bad idea. People will always love bacon. Bacon will never go away. Looks like it's time for me to buy a pig.
