Repeat. Day after Day of early morning heat and humidity, leads to these super-cell thunderstorms having the potential to form and lay destruction upon the landscape. This particular storm wasn't the worst of what we had received these past few days.. but unfortunately I have been at my night shift and unable to capture all of nature's destructive micro agressions.
When incredible updraft columns form along convergence lines and ride that energy all the way to the coast.

Lots of Rain and Clouds. Three storm waves rolled through our area that day. Constant rains have saturated the soils in forests around our area and have caused many to topple with the strong winds associated with these storms.
We are not alone in our "story" around the nation.
