Studies done in this field so far:-
Information gathered from internet
At first we gathered some information from the internet which was of great help. We learned more regarding the topic. We studied the causes and demerits of brain drain. We realized that this is becoming a major concern these days.
Origin
The term "brain drain" was coined by the Royal Society to describe the emigration of "scientists and technologists" to North America from post-war Europe. Another source indicates that this term was first used in the United Kingdom to describe the influx of Indian scientists and engineers. There are also other relevant phrases, "brain circulation" and "brain waste". Although the term originally referred to technology workers leaving a nation, the meaning has broadened into "the departure of educated or professional people from one country, economic sector, or field for another, usually for better pay or living conditions".
Survey
As we know Brain drain is a social issue, so to gather some statistics we went public. We conducted a survey and our basic targets were the students. Few questions regarding future were asked from the students. And there answers were recorded.
We made a Google form and distributed it amongst the students. There answers were recorded and were later analyzed.
(
According to this pie chart we realized that most of the students have decided to study further and get higher education. According to our own survey 69% of students chose higher education over job or business, only 25.5% students opted for jobs and remaining 5.3% students decided to have their business.
Now the main question was whether the students who wanted to pursue their higher education want to study within India or abroad.
So i hope the information i provided was great and helpful wait for the next update.
