If you ever come to Sabah, there is a very good chance that a local Sabahan will surely recommend you to try out "Mee Sup Pipin" or "Pipin Noodle Soup". You might be thinking, what makes it so special? A bit of history about Mee Sup Pipin, it was first introduced and sold only during a weekly flea market during the 1980's by a man named Pipin. It gained vast popularity and Pipin decided to sell it daily, and turned his house into a restaurant.

One of the restaurant chain is located at Donggongon Town.

His noodle soup business gained popularity and more lucrative day by day, so his sons and daughters decided to open up more shops that uses the same family recipes and thus created a brand called "Mee Sup Pipin". This popular noodle soup shop is the pride of the district of Penampang and as of today has about six restaurant as far as Tuaran.

This restaurant which is located at Donggongon Town is a great place to hang out with friends and family. Here are some pictures of the restaurant.

The restaurant has good ambience, clean and uses ceiling fans to cool the inside.

I came to the restaurant around 7.00 am, and there were only a few customers inside. Maybe it was still a bit early, usually this shop is filled with customers. So, I ordered for my self the popular Pork Noodle Soup and Tofu.

The soup tasted delicious, good portion of noodles and those variety types of Pork Meat arranged beautifully makes the dish looks so tempting.

The tofu however tasted a bit plain, maybe they should improve the ingredients for the sauce.

Overall, I was really satisfied with the Pork Noodle Soup I had for my breakfast. It was really tasty, I almost wanted to order another bowl. Anyway, I think I might be going there again tomorrow. Lol.
