You may actually believe that you don’t want it but in reality you actually do need it
Better vision is a necessity for optimal studies in the field on education. Any student who has a refractive error will tell you how difficult it is to go to class without your spectacle correction. Such students finds it difficult concentrating or even understanding anything that the teacher may be teaching because they are already having a hard time trying to get their vision in focus as it keeps switching from blur image to sharp image.
Students with hyperopia may even have it been worse since their use of accommodation presents with asthenopia (headaches mostly) for having stressed the visual system for such long periods. It worsens when they have to read after doing distance work.
It's for some of these reasons and many more that we continue to do what we do day in day out.
Some people are more interested in other people’s lives than their own.
What is 
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
To reduce or prevent vision loss through diseases such as glaucoma, cataract and refractive errors.
To enlighten the majority of the Ghanaian population about the importance of proper visual care.
To conscientize people on the need for regular eye checks
To get more people to have their wards screened within the Critical periods of a Child’s Vision Development; thus from ages 3 to till about 10 years.
To help the blind and people with low vision live a better life within the society through education of the general public to stop stigmatization.
