Hello there, coffee lovers!
Remember I met my friend who now lives in Spain? We didn't take any photos that day. Well, I was invited for another coffee. This time amongst choir singers. And as I arrived early and had a chance to talk with her for a bit, she also mentioned the lack of photos from that previous coffee.
But it's a New Year and we can start with good talk, good photos and, of course, good coffee. We went into this fancy place place called Amaretto. Yes, like the almond liquor. And had some fancy coffees with tres leches cake and tiramisu. This place is kind of expensive, but the presentation and flavor makes up for the price note.
We had a chance to talk about so many things regarding life and work and achievements. And this talk amazingly spun some interesting things going around different countries and visions of life. It was never about critique nor trying to make one's life be above the others. Each one seems to be doing the best they think in the accomplishments of their goals. And its amazing to bring it to the table and discuss about the subjects.
But I also got to hand over one of my instruments that other friend had bought a year ago. You know what's weird? These friends who bought my instruments were both Sopranos from the University's Choir. There's another Soprano who also purchased one of my instruments. I see a trend arising there.
Anyways, I wanted to be the odd note in the coffee meeting so I had an Amaretto Coffee. It's a house specialty that comes with a healthy dose of this almond liquor. And it was amazing.
Also, this time we had the chance to take a group photo which my friend sent me so I could add it to this post. I couldn't think of a better way to start the year. We had it all, friends and coffee.
