I had a couple of friends that we do normally do things together where we eat together, drink together and even go out together which is always fun but can be annoying sometimes. The reason for the annoyance is that there are times when we just want to be alone without anyone disturbing and this friends of mine wouldn't know that but just want to keep me active with them.
There are times when I will just try to get things on my own to eat without calling anyone and this mindset is not that am stingy or don't want to give anyone it just that it is an agreement between us if we choose not to. Then it have come to my notice that if I buy things to eat alone, my friends would come around to drag it from me lol and I have no choice than to leave them.
Then I realize that this is becoming too much of them that they hid theirs when they buy but likes to eat mine when they notice me. This attitude of them made me decide to go out and enjoy without letting them know my location. What I did was that I decided not to take my phone with me because I know they will call, so I left it at home by switching it off to avoid any disturbance lol.
My other plan was to hold enough cash that will sustain me get what I want when I get to where I was going to, so I just decide to keep that in my purse. I had a little change for transport so I kept that separate as well. When I got to where I would get a nice meal to eat it was then I realized that I had forgotten my purse at home and there is no phone to contact any of my friends.
Even if there was a phone I don't know either of my friends numbers so the only thing on my mind was to plead. However what I bought when calculated was around $10 and it will be difficult to explain that I had the money to pay but I forgot it at home lol. Assuming my house was closeby it would have been better because probably someone might follow me home to go get the purse but it was far away so it was a different case.
It wasn't something I can forget so easily because people around said I did it intentionally and this wouldn't be my first time to do such. I pleaded and pleaded but no one came to my rescue so the only thing I could do was to wash dishes for hours before they can free me and behold I did that lol to regain my freedom.
When I got home I picked up my purse and went back to the place to proof my innocence lol and when they saw this they pleaded as well because it wasn't their fault either. They apologized by giving me a take away to take home which I appreciated but after the whole scenario I learnt to always keep in touch with people who are close to me to avoid embarrassment like that.
