Learning or demanding knowledge is absolutely essential for us, both knowledge in the form of the world and religious knowledge, the following is a hadith that recommends us to trace knowledge.
طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيْضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ وَمُسْلِمَةٍ
Meaning: "Seeking knowledge must be for every Muslim, male or female." (Reported by Al-Baihaqi)
From the hadith above, it is explained that the study or tracing of knowledge is an obligation for every Muslim, whether male or female. However, before studying or tracing our knowledge it is recommended to pray, so that it is easier to learn, so that the knowledge we learn can enter our minds, and can be useful for our lives and those around us.

Prayer Before Study
رَضِتُ بِااللهِ رَبَا وَبِالْاِسْلاَمِ دِيْنَا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيَا وَرَسُوْلاَ رَبِّ زِدـْ نِيْزمالِ
Rodlittu billahirobba, wabi islamidina, wabimuhammadin Nabiyyaw warasulla, robbi zidnii ilmaa warzuqnii fahmaa.
Meaning: "We are pleased with Allah SWT as my Lord, Islam as my religion, and Prophet Muhammad as a Prophet and Messenger, O Allah, add to me knowledge and give me a good understanding"
رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا وَارْزُقْنِيْ فَهْمًا وَاجْعَلْنِيْ مِنَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ
Robbi zidnii 'ilman warzuqnii fahmaa, waj'alnii minash-shoolihiin
Meaning: "O Allah, add to me knowledge and give me rizqi of understanding, And make me one of the pious people"
Prayer Before Studying the Koran
اللهم اخرجنا من ظلمات الوهم واكرمنا بنورالفهم وافتح علينا بمعرفتكوسهل لنآ ابواب فضلك يآ ارحم الراحمين
Alloohumma akhrijnaa min dzulumaatilwahmi wa akrimnaa binuuril fahmi waftah'alainaa bima'rifatika wasahhil lanaa abwaaba fadl-lika ya arhamar roohimiin
It means: "O Allah, bring us out of the darkness of prejudice, glorify us together with the light of understanding, open our understanding of knowledge and open for us the doors of Your grace, O the most merciful One."

Prayer After Study
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّى اِسْتَوْدِعُكَ مَاعَلَّمْتَنِيْهِ فَارْدُدْهُ اِلَىَّ عِنْدَ حَاجَتِىْ وَلاَ تََمسَنِ
Allaahumma innii istaudi'uka maa 'allamtaniihi fardud-hu ilayya' inda haajatii wa laa tansaniihi yaa robbal 'alamin
Meaning: "O Allah, I actually entrust to You what You have taught me, so return it to me when I need it. You do not make me forget him. O God preserver of nature."
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَرِنَا الْحَقَّ حَقًّا وَارْزُقْنَا اتِّـبَاعَهُ وَأَرِنَا الْبَاطِلَ بَابِلاً وَقارْزَُنَاَجْقتا
Allahumma Arinal Haqqa Haqqan Warzuqnat arrivesa'ahu. Wa Arinal baathila Baa-Thilan Warzuqnaj tinaabahu
Meaning: "O Allah, show us the truth, so that we are able to follow it. And show us ugliness so that we can stay away from it"
رَبَّنَا انْفَعْنَا بِمَاعَلَمْتَنَا الَّذِيْ يَنْفَعُنَا وَزِدْنَا عِلْمًا وَالْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِ َعَلَى كُلّٰهِ
Rabbanan fa'naa bima 'alamtanaldzi yanfa'una wa zidna' ilman walhamdulillahi 'ala kulihal
Meaning: "O our Lord, make our knowledge useful knowledge, teach us what is useful for us and also add knowledge for us, all praise is only to Allah in every situation."
Learning and Demanding Knowledge According to Islamic Law
If we pay attention to filling in the Qur'an and Hadith, there are some commands that oblige every Muslim, both male and female, to demand knowledge so that he becomes an intelligent community. Demanding meaningful knowledge seeks to produce all knowledge along the lines of asking, witnessing or hearing.
