The Revival Game (http://kck.st/2UsUlCS) is a Live Action Role Play (LARP) map-adventure mobile game that is combining the virtual and physical world together. Join others in a user-generated script, play out your role in the real world, while being guided by the map-adventure mobile game.

The Revival
We are in the midst of building a global technological civilization never seen in the history of this planet. And although these tools and technologies bring us closer together than ever, it is ironic that we have lost the human touch. Everything seems so cold and lonely, yet at the same time loud and chaotic.

Even gaming has become so social, but it feels so competitive in its nature and not collaborative. How about changing all that? How about bringing Humanity back into gaming? This is how The Revival will do it:

• The Revival is a live-action role-playing game in the real world driven by a map-adventure-app.
• Individuals will sign up as characters in a script and will play out their roles in the physical world.
• The game will take place in the real world but will follow where to go and what to do based on instructions found in the map-adventure-app.
• The star of the “story” has to find people in the physical universe and interact with them. Only after a successful interaction can they continue.
• Scripts are user-generated and have to be approved before being “live.”
• You have to be 16 or older to play the game. There will be no cross-contamination of age-groups, as in, people will be group into their appropriate age-group.
• You have to sign a release of liability agreement.
• You can play the game on foot, in a car, or on a bike. Based on your selection, you will be able to sign up for the scripts designed for each transportation choice.
• The platform will make money from a monthly subscription.
• Playing one game a month will be free for users.
• Generating scripts and games can only be done under the monthly subscription option.
• Background checks will be done on everyone, and proper identification must be uploaded to be on the platform.

This will bring back the sense of community and humanity to our cities/areas. People can actually interact with strangers/friends in a playful manner, while also bringing the physical world back into our lives. Are you in? Will you support this project? What will we do with the money?

• Develop a test app from the ground up. ($50K)
• Marketing budget. ($25K)
• Total Kickstarter of $100K. But there are always contingencies and surprises, so we are adding 20% to cover those for a total of $120K.

We will then take the idea to a venture capital firm to help us grow the concept even more.

• Depending on how much you donate, you can be a part of developing this app, giving us your ideas.
• Developing scripts and roles are vital for beta testing as we work through the kinks of the app. We need users to generate the content and participate in live action role-playing.

Risks and challenges
Developing apps can be extremely expensive, especially something as intricate as The Revival. That's why this Kickstarter is just of the beta game. It will need much more money for the final product, especially to figure out any legal issues that might arise.

Also, the timeline given is an estimate, and the first version of the game might be finished before or after the promised date.
