An enjoyable story with an uplifting message. I particularly liked parts like this one, where your reference to colours and textures gives the story some real atmosphere, "The tree sparkled among the colored lights, laden with gold, green, blue, and silver ornaments that shone with melancholy, while the music box played non-stop with Christmas carol melodies. The adjacent table was dressed with a thick woven tablecloth, on which the cheerful faces of elves with pointed ears wearing red and green hats in alternating order combined perfectly."
