I welcome you all into a new week and yet another opportunity to make some wrongs turn right.
I know how busy your schedules must be so l am going to make this session brief by getting to the nitty-gritty
Today l want us to take a second look at steadfastness and understand its crucial roles in our success life.
Being steadfast is a demanding attribute. Its not how hard life hits you that makes you strong but your ability to withstand certain pressures.
Many religious leaders will always emphasize the inevitable role of steadfastness to her practitioners..so here are a few ways you can inculcate steadfastness:
Its OK to feel how you feel, most times you question the judgemental power of fate and wish things could just work out in your favour always... But that isn't what life is about, life is an endless struggle so be prepared for anything.
Prayer constantly keeps us in touch with our creator...if lack of communication can crumble your earthly relationship, how much more with God. Pray relentlessly and strengthen your bond with God.
Not only are your friends just your friends, but they can also be your accountability partners. An accountability partner will help you to stay on the faith walk. Whenever you are feeling low or empty, you can call or text or Facetime your accountability partner. They can and will remind you of the Word, God's Promises, and that you have been built to endure! Additionally, your accountability partners do not have to be your friends, they can be anyone you trust and are able to confide in.
I know... fasting is HARD. Abstaining from food in society where mostly all of our commercials and advertisement consist of food is extremely difficult, but it is very possible and sometimes very necessary. You see, fasting was designed to bring us closer to God and when we give up food, we are letting God know that His word will become our meat and that we have such a desperate need to hear from Him that we will do away with what our flesh needs the most: Food.
Just because you are going through some things does not mean you are given the right to condemn yourself. Self-condemnation is the act of self-blaming, and blaming yourself is not a way to make your situation any better, it will only make us feel worse. God knows our hearts better than we do, let鈥檚 not just talk about love; let鈥檚 practice real love. This is the only way we鈥檒l know we鈥檙e living truly, living in God鈥檚 reality. It鈥檚 also the way to shut down debilitating self-criticism, even when there is something to it. For God is greater than our worried hearts and knows more about us than we do ourselves."
When going through rough times, it is so easy to focus on the situation that is happening in front of you. It is easy to get off track and become unraveled in the whirl of emotions that happen throughout daily life. But focusing on the problem can not only throw us off the the tracks, it can blind us from seeing and focusing on God's Promises.
As I was compiling this list together, it reminded me of the very great things of God and His promises. I,too, am going through some very rough times right now and making this list not only helped me out too.I pray that this list blesses all of you and enhance your steadfastness.
