In the crazy blockchain/crypto space... there are more people who are just talkers and full of hot air.... and then there are the quiet ones who just build stuff and get on with the job of making it work. Sadly, it is the former that grab most of the public attention, but this is a sickness that is common to all fields.

With Splinterlands (@steemmonsters), @aggroed and @yabapmatt have created a real gem of a game... with a steady economic model that has resisted sudden changes and sudden grabs for cash. It is also a great example of a relatively well crafted tactical card came as well, which plays to the advantages of a public blockchain and doesn't hobble the game with too frequent and unnecessary writes to the public ledger (which would otherwise slow the experience down...).

It is a great model for a use case of cryptocurrencies outside speculation and gambling... and just such a great ambassador for the STEEM chain from which it had it's roots in.

Unfortunately, like many great projects... it hasn't gotten a great deal of publicity. I was hoping that when TRX integration was completed that Mr Justin Sun would have made a little plug for it (maybe, I'll do a random Twitter on him...)... or maybe he is saving it up to pitch to Warren Buffet?

So, imagine my surprise when I was logging into Kucoin today... and one of the splash screens is that featured image of KCS being integrated into Splinterlands! It's great that KCS has another use case, but even better that Splinterlands is getting some much deserved loving from one of the bigger cryptocurrency exchanges. The splash screen is the start, and the email that will be going out to Kucoin users later in the week will be another big plug. Little bits here and there, and you might hit the jackpot! Speaking of which, I'm going to randomly tag Justin Sun...
