Haha for the bow!

The larger ones are pretty much the same shape, but longer and with two manuals. Sometimes with a few more keys... and then there are samller ones as well!

The harpsichords and fortepianos are a nightmare of constant small maintenance... the wood framing means that it shifts constantly with the seasons and weather, and everything operates on millimetre precision... so, constant sanding retouching... and all of that!

I had no idea what a mellophone was, had to look that up! Cool!
