okay so this morning i didn't really plan anything. i just walked out to get coffee and then i saw them. ensaymada. fresh from the bakery, still warm. you can tell by the sugar on top, it hasn't melted yet.
i bought two. brought them home, put them on a plate and made black coffee. that's it. that's my whole breakfast.
i love how soft it is. like you press it and it just comes back. sweet but not too sweet, buttery, with that cheese powder thing on the side. with coffee? perfect.
been checking charts all morning, stressful week, but this kind of morning makes you pause. no notifications, just bread and coffee and quiet.
sometimes we chase big wins but honestly moments like this feel like the real win.
