Jade vine or also called emerald vine or also turquoise jade vine, is a woody vine species originating from the Philippines. In the Philippines alone this plant has a local name as tayabak.
The vines or jade vine has a length of 18 meters (if in the original habitat). While in Indonesia jade vine plant has a length of about 3-5 meters.
Jade vine has a flower that hung down and colored like a translucent jade. In the wild Jade Vine is pollinated by bats, so when these plants are cultivated in the greenhouse the planter must be responsible manually by using their hands. By imitating the effects of bats visiting flowers to drink nectar and simultaneously encourage pollination.
Jade Vine plants need support for creeping, so it is often planted in pergola and looks beautiful with flower arranged and stacked. Flowers from these creepers will begin to appear after 2 years or more depending on how the planting and pruning.
