Live my retirement in a beautiful and quiet mountain area
Hello friends around the world I hope you had a great weekend, this was a long weekend because of the Easter holiday, a new week begins and the small school vacations of the children have come to an end, the new school routine is just a few hours to start with many expectations and plans in this new period that is the end of the school year, during the break I took the opportunity to finish some pending, watch movies and rest at home, nothing better than the tranquility of home, sweet home; this is my entry for the weekend commitment topics proposed by @galenkp, when reading the topics I liked number 3 and number 6, both are interesting but I decided for the last one,
6) Living in the city or in the country, what is your preference and why?
Before answering the question, I must say that my childhood was spent in a beautiful town, characterized by abundant vegetation, beautiful landscapes and the presence of an important river of Venezuela, I keep beautiful memories of my childhood while playing with my sisters and friends many hours and running in the rain, every time I visit it is very exciting, I can also walk comfortably through the streets, without the stress generated by the city, do my errands and go to the center of town without taking transportation, it is an ideal place to rest and enjoy the contact with nature.
Living in the city and completing my university studies was one of my goals, after finishing high school I had the opportunity to move to a beautiful city and finish my studies, it was a nice experience to get to know urban life and enjoy the amenities that the city offers, including access to some services that are not available in the town such as; internet, health, stores, shopping centers and a very different lifestyle than we have in the towns, in addition to the possibility of acquiring some products that are difficult to find in the town, in a short time you get used to the city and its hectic pace of life, while studying at the university I was able to travel to several places and one of my favorites was the town of Caripe, which stands out for its pleasant mountain climate, natural parks, fog and beautiful landscapes, it is not a big city but it has the basic services for those who visit it to enjoy and live a nice experience in the mountainous area of Turimiquire, although I spent a few days there I loved this place.
I also like visiting the countryside because it's a great way to enjoy contact with nature, relax, and recharge. Whenever I go to the countryside, I take the opportunity to walk, observe the landscape, and breathe fresh air. Swimming in the river is also a great option in the countryside. It's incredible how relaxing and rewarding a visit to the countryside is. Life is peaceful, and you can also enjoy activities like horseback riding and fishing.
Regarding whether I would live in the city or the countryside, I would choose a town like Caripe. From my first visit, I really liked it, and I thought my retirement plan would be to live in this beautiful town and have a large garden with lots of flowers and a space to grow food at home. Even after several years, it's still my dream to live in this charming place. It's not rural, nor is it a big city. You could say it's a combination of both (rural and urban). It doesn't have the dynamism of a city, but it has some services that the countryside doesn't have, such as electricity, and it has the advantage of being able to grow food at home. I think it's more like a countryside, which is why I like it.
I would be very happy if I could live my final years in this beautiful place. As I mentioned, it has a spectacular climate and beautiful landscapes for walking and spending time with my family. Although I have several years left until retirement, I maintain my plan to live in this area and I hope it comes true.
Blessings!
