This project is easy to make and ideal for working with children. They can decorate and paint the sphere with their favorite color. It's also an activity that helps them in the following ways:
*Develops creativity.
*Develops fine motor skills while painting with a brush and cutting out the stars (adult supervision is important when cutting, and scissors with blunt tips should be used).
*Identifies colors.
*Recognizes shapes like circles and stars.
*Decorates according to each child's taste.
This time I used stars, but in later projects I will use other figures alluding to this time of year when we celebrate the birth of Jesus.
El proyecto es sencillo de hacer e ideal para trabajar con los ni帽os, ellos pueden decorar y pintar la esfera con su color favorito tambi茅n es una actividad que les ayuda en los siguientes aspectos:
*Ejercita la creatividad.
*Ejercita la motricidad, mientras pintan con el pincel y recortan las estrellas (al momento de recortar es importante la supervisi贸n de un adulto y utilizar tijeras preferiblemente con punta roma)
*Identificar los colores.
*Conocer figuras como c铆rculos estrellas.
*Decorar de acuerdo al gusto de cada ni帽o.
En esta oportunidad utilic茅 estrellas, ya en posteriores proyectos emplear茅 otras figuras alusivas a esta 茅poca del a帽o donde celebramos el nacimiento de Jes煤s.

Elaboration
The first step was to mark and cut a circle out of the cardboard. Adult assistance is needed for this step. Once the circle is cut, it's painted. As I mentioned at the beginning, it was going to be blue, but then I changed it to red.

El primer paso fue marcar y cortar un c铆rculo en el cart贸n, aqu铆 es importante necesaria la ayuda de un adulto para cortar. Cortado el c铆rculo, se procede a pintar, como mencion茅 al principio iba a ser de color azul y luego lo cambi茅 por color rojo.
After applying two coats of red paint, I let it dry and then placed masking tape on the top and bottom. I painted stripes of blue and green, then let it dry for about an hour so the paint would dry completely and not peel off when I removed the tape.
Pasadas las dos capas de pintura roja, dej茅 secar y coloqu茅 tirro en la parte de arriba y abajo, para pintar franjas de color azul y verde luego dej茅 secar por aproximadamente una hora para que la pintura seque bien bien y no se despegue al momento de retirar el tirro.
The next step was to trace the stars onto the back of the foam sheet. Then, using scissors, I cut out each star.
El siguiente paso fue marcar las estrellas en el rev茅s del foami, con una tijera se va cortando cada estrella.
Next, I glued them onto the sphere. I used stars in two shades of blue, yellow, and white. I placed a dot of hot glue on the back of each star and glued them on until the sphere was covered. At this point, it's important for the child to decorate it according to their taste. They can choose to use stars of the same color, different colors, cover the entire sphere with stars, or just a few stars鈥攊t's up to each child. These decorations can be used to adorn a bedroom door or the house, allowing them to participate in making Christmas decorations.
Finally, a string is attached to the back for hanging. It can also be glued to a door or any other decorated area. I hope this short tutorial is helpful so that children can work at home and make Christmas decorations to their liking.
Luego las pegu茅 en la esfera, utilic茅 estrellas en dos tonos de azul, amarillo y blanco, coloqu茅 un punto de silic贸n en la parte trasera de cada estrella y pegu茅 hasta cubrir la esfera, en este punto es importante que el ni帽o la decore de acuerdo a su gusto, si quiere colocar estrellas del mismo color, de colores variados, cubrir todo con estrella o sencillamente algunas estrellas, es al gusto de cada ni帽o y pueden ser usadas para adornar la puerta de la habitaci贸n o la casa, as铆 participan en la elaboraci贸n de las decoraciones navide帽as.
Para finalizar se le coloca un cord贸n en la parte de atr谩s, para colgar, tambi茅n se puede pegar en la puerta, o lugar que se vaya a decorar; espero que este peque帽o tutorial les sea de utilidad para que los ni帽os puedan trabajar en casa y hacer los adornos navide帽os a su gusto.
