No celebro, acepto.

In the middle of a storm...
In my daily walk... These last days of October I have dedicated to contemplate from my window.
Although it is hard to believe, observing through the window is a complex act because of all that it implies.
In that moment of observation I focus my attention on the rain, on natural disasters, on the fury of every event that breaks out in the cities of my country Venezuela.
In the same way, I focus my attention on all those calls made by experts years ago to exhort citizens to take care of the environment.
In silence, under the noise of the rain, I listen to the pleas, the crying, the prayer to ask God to calm so many storms because they have become stormy. It is worth the redundancy.
In those moments my anguish is also present. For me, for my family and for all these people who have been and continue to be left naked, in the street, with pain in their souls because of so many losses.
Faced with a thick fog that takes away my vision, I ask God's forgiveness for the damage caused. Likewise, in the same instant, I ask forgiveness from myself for obvious reasons.
At this precise moment I accept and receive the new, what comes after that rain for me, for my own, for my neighbor, for the world.
I do not celebrate, I accept. Obviously, with the cessation of the rains we can see much more. They say, after the storm, comes the calm.
After these storms have come good things and not so good things; some bring serenity, others continue to be of anguish.
As my vision clears, the theme of renewal is revealed. You notice the muddy ground but the mountains exhibiting their greenery. We see pools of water and above them the reflection of a beautiful sky.
In the midst of this cold and dull weather comes the perfect time to let go or at least start taking steps to let go and renew.
Nothing is in my hands but in my consciousness. Nothing is in my hands but in the hands of the creator. Nothing is in thought but in action. What happens outside also happens inside.
My contemplative moment caused a mirror effect, I was looking outside but also inside.
