Se teme que las orugas peluche invadan otros espacios. Las hembras pueden dejar sus larvas en esas hojas fuertes de los árboles. Seguro están allí también para protegerlas de las hormigas que también hay a montón.

Las orugas miden alrededor de 3 o 4 centímetros, aparentan ser grandes en las fotografías pero no lo son. No sé si se encuentran en fase adulta, creo que ninguno en la residencia lo sabe. Lo cierto es que andan hambrientas devorando hojas y secando los árboles.
The caterpillars are about 3 or 4 centimeters long, they look big in the pictures but they are not. I don't know if they are in the adult stage, I think none of the residents know. The truth is that they are hungry, devouring leaves and drying out the trees.
Esperemos que estas peluches no resulten maltratadas pero es urgente sacarlas del lugar por la cantidad de personas que por allí transitan a diario. Además, pueden convertirse en plaga.
Let's hope that these stuffed animals are not mistreated but it is urgent to take them out of the place because of the amount of people that transit there daily. Besides, they can become a plague.
