I picked quite the time to grow my Hive account but such is my motivation that I don't intend to wave, even if there's a pump. That said, I'll have to consider setting some sort of price range that I'll work with in my hive power growth strategy.
Anyway, crypto has been a mainstay in my life for the past 7 years. It has been an incredible journey that has thrust me into the world of finance.
Money is a nice concept and as a tool, it can get you a lot of things. However, it cannot buy time, experience and the intangibles that comes with it.
So, for me, the most valuable thing that crypto has gotten me is the experience. The time spent has changed my perception of money, value and the approach I use to navigate the world of finance.
Away from the philosophical, it is also safe to say that crypto profits has made a tangible difference in the quality of life I live. Whether it be through airdrops or just profit after a pump, crypto has been immense to my survival.
Overall, I'd say that the most prominent crypto purchase in my life is the Honda Accord I bought in 2021. It was also my first car and gave me that top of the world feeling.
The best part about buying that car with crypto is that it was funds derived from pure profit. Back in 2021, I was among the lucky recipients of the FORTH airdrop and after liquidating most of my tokens, I bought our Honda Accord.
The best part about it is that the FORTH airdrop came freshly after I got married. It was almost like the gods of crypto were giving me a wedding present.
That car improved our quality of life and it serves us well for two years. We eventually decided to move to a better area in the city and it was as a result of having a car to traverse the city properly.
Still on the topic of marriage, crypto largely sponsored our wedding. We got a lot of support from friends and family but for the most part, the wedding was funded by proceeds from crypto profit or crypto adjacent work like writing articles for crypto project.
A wedding ceremony isn't exactly an item, so I can't classify it as a "purchase". However, in terms of importance, I'd say my wedding is the most important thing I've had to spend crypto profits on.
