You nicely said what I had in mind and summed up in few sentences :). B/W thinking, along with other simplifying mechanisms, is how human psyche works (which I talk about in almost all my posts) and there are more and more those who are taking advantage of that :(

I also love empty streets but this emptiness is not calming or mysteriously magical but sad if one is aware of the cause for emptiness.
