The whole COVID19 is creating two camps, all around the world. Something terrible bad for our societies. I've friends (and family) going with their black/white statement and opinions, not being open for the other sides opinions, and certainly not using their own brains to rationalise their own opinion. Some of them telling me they seek distance from their loves ones, because of different opinions. Very socially disrupting times we are in. I do hope we all come to our senses again and start viewing the world as grey, instead of black/white. But I have my doubts. The black/white way is something we see happening already before COVID, in for instance politics in which in (almost) all European countries those who master talking in soundbites and those who master the art of voicing our feelings without providing solutions to social issues, are increasingly more popular.
Interestingly, the black/white pictures are very interesting to me and gives me a positive feeling. First of all: I do like B/W pictures, without colours, the image itself is more emphasised. Secondly, I do love empty streets in cities, a reason why I more often walk the city where I live while we are in a form of lockdown.
