21.century. Peak of the human civilization. Enough inventions and tools for all the people on the planet to live decent lives. Yet, we are arguing about whose lives matter (more). Really?! Great job, new Goebbelses.

What we hear from politicians is that all human lives are important, they are just trying to protect as many as possible. There are countless government and non-government organizations whose goals and programs are to support all sort of marginalized people and help fight injustice. Good, among them, there are people who really believe in the cause, not there just for good wages.

What we can witness (according to Worldometer) is that there are:
• more than 4,000 000 toxic chemicals released in the environment this year
• more than 800 000 000 undernourished people in the world
• more than 21,000 people who died of hunger daily
• more than 370,000 deaths caused by water related diseases this year
• more than 800,000 000 people with no access to a safe drinking water source

Furthermore, how many people suffer of die due to lack of necessary medical assistance or drugs?
How many children are working (and dying) in mines or factories or landfills... in so called 3rd world countries?
How many homeless people are all around the world?
How many people die in wars all around the globe?
How many people are suffering and dying due to illegal drugs or human trafficking?
Add more_______________

Do lives of those people matter?
Diseases and death are race, age, gender, religion... blind.
Who are those who benefit from all of the above?

As told, science and technology are advanced enough so it is not impossible to organize society in ways that will make more lives, if not good, at least bearable and decent; but investing in hospitals, environment, science (e.g. vaccines)... doesen.t pay off. Lives of common people does not matter except when you are needed to vote. So those whose lives matter can stay in power.

Who are those who need to change something? Yes, it is us. But first we need to realize that people are people, not black or white or red or yellow...and that in every group of people there are individuals who are just searching for reason (excuse) to hate and be violent.
Yes, it is easier to see things in the world (pardon my expression) black and white; we are good guys they are bad. But it just not how reality is.

Resisting manipulations that are turning us against each other is the key to better position in game of thrones where the common people are only a means of payment.

P.S. Even Siri and Alexa are involved; all we need is AI to add oil into the fire ;)
