I'm seeing a greater quantity of posts from Steemit showing up when searching.
Unfortunately for the authors, they're all past the reward cut off date.
I believe authors on Steem should be able to receive rewards for their content, forever.
Steem is fundamentally different from enforced extended copyright payments, the rewards are entirely voluntary on the part of the reader, and everything goes directly to the author.
(of course, barring some technical issue, or fraudulent activity, etc, which the devs and community can and should correct.)
I understand (last time I checked) that technical issues with the blockchain prohibit this. I believe there is some simple, elegant solution to that problem, the trick is finding it.
Any suggestions?
