I think that as parents we feel that it is our sole responsibility to take care of our children and family. Accepting help subconsciously gives us the idea that we are not doing enough or maybe we are not good parents if we cant resolve things on our own without involving other people. . It is weird and illogical to refuse help whenever we need it. Yet we do it anyway.
