A long day! Getting up 5.30am, press the button of the coffee machine, a quick cold shower and off to work. Easy this time, I had everything packed and ready by 8.30am – and then a client sent a message that they didn’t want their order shipped in boxes, but would rather pick them up. So I had to re-pack 180 Panini buns. Well, I still was in time. And I sold everything quite quickly, 1.30pm and I was done.
My cellphone and my garmin clock are not getting along very well. It didn’t register all my steps – it was 25k in the end, new personal record. No wonder, walking all over town several times. And to the courthouse. They finally let me do the last thing necessary to be able to subpoena Lily’s mom by press – a bureaucratic hurdle. Not that she reads, anyway, nor that she’s in Ecuador, but hey. Gotta follow the rules even when they don’t make any sense at all.
In the evening, Ellie came by and we had a couple of beer. Since I hadn’t eaten anything, they went straight into the head and I had a nice light buzz. But then one of my best friends wrote to see if we could have a beer together, as he was leaving the next day to live in Argentina. The night ended quite late, and this morning was quite hard.
So far for yesterday - thank you for reading and have a good evening!
