I can say I really tried to get to bed early, but then Danny wrote me at 22.30pm asking if I could make a seitán for some vegetarian dishes at a wedding that he's catering for. They had been preparing for that all week long, and really worked hard, but didn't have time. Making seitán is easy, just mixing the ingredients, wrap them in foil, boil them 30min in the pressure cooker. So I accepted. Made the day longer...
Besides that, it was a good day I'd say. Went to the gym a little later than usual. Ellie came by afterwards, and we had half an hour to ourselves, which has become very rare. I had lunch with one of my best friends, who usually doesn't have much time for long reunions, either. I didn't get any work done, though. I really have to get on that.
Just before the Jamsession, I was cooking, one of my workers came and said that he'd quit. He had applied for a new job a month ago, without telling us (we would've supported him), and now didn't even give us time to find a replacement. And we did go out on a limb for him, gave him a lot of good chances, and thought that he had understood what Pandala was about. Very disappointing. But that's humans. I can only hope that his new job will help him, though I doubt it. Municipal government - they go through workers quickly.
The Jamsession was great though. We just arrived at the hot springs, so I'm going to enjoy that and write more later.
