A day of my liking. Got up early, fed the car quickly, wrote some comments on Hive and went to the gym – leg day. Made it through and got back to work quite a while. I had taken a meeting while in the gym, since I was mainly listening. But I did pay attention, so I had a nice to-do list to be taken care of, which is did. It feels good to make progress.
The walk to the courthouse went as expected – “Tranquilo, mañana.” But at least tomorrow I don’t have to take a turn and wait another hour, as for the last 3 times. Patience is key. I used the time to get some steps up walking through the courthouse, up and down the hallway, while doing Duolingo. And afterwards I went to the Cotacachi letters up on the hill and practiced the 5 forms of Tang Soo Do that I know so far.
After that, I ran a few errands to complete the 10k steps and do something productive in the meantime. I was playing Splinterlands again when Ellie called. She had a rough day at work, so she came over and we had two beer. Nothing normal for me these days, at least not within the week. But exceptions are good to see how much I can control myself afterwards.
I enjoyed playing Survival today. The bots are getting better, and I actually lost a few games. The good thing for the moment is that the waiting times for cards to come back are shortened by 99%, so the longest I have to wait is 4h. I did manage to get my win streak up to 58, though, which I find quite hilarious. It’s only thanks to the bad bots, so I don’t take any credit. Right now, I’m at silver-level, and have to think again to win. Before, I could just randomly throw awesome cards in and win without losing one of them. Now, I have to get back to using strategy, while one by one losing my favorite cards. Forces me to rethink – quite a nice concept, to be honest.
That’s it for tonight! I hope you’ll have a good night and thank you for reading!
