The impact of art on society isn鈥檛 far-fetched. I always tell people Art is life. Well, I am a work of art too, beautiful and wonderfully made hehehehehe馃グ馃グ

Most times when we speak about ART we fail to understand that it entails several things, it could include paintings, music, dance, literature, theatre, photography, sculptures, and crafts.

Art is a representation of one鈥檚 emotions, imagination, and skill, almost every artwork you see has a story behind it. People can express how they feel and what they think using Art.
The majority of the art posts that I have been privileged to read on this blockchain always depict how the artist was feeling at the time of coming up with the artwork or the story behind the artwork.

Days back I visited the Gidan Makama Museum and I was able to fill my eyes with several artworks, especially crafts. The impact of this art found in the museum is to build and uphold the Kano tradition. Throughout history, it has been noted that art tends to represent the visual record of cultural, social, and political contexts.
Art plays a vital role in the culture of the Kano people by preserving and promoting the Kano cultural heritage.

By showcasing most historical artworks, the museum helps to educate visitors about what happened years ago. It shows the history and artistic tradition. In this sense, it can be said that art promotes a sense of social and cultural awareness. This is a big impact on the society.

Art is a form of therapy to many. You feel sad, stressed, or depressed, and looking at some artwork can help lighten your mood. Most art galleries are filled with artworks that are either historical or done from people鈥檚 emotions. You could be sad and then decide to paint, most times the outcome is amazing and you feel good about what you have created.

Art attracts tourists, it attracts a lot of people from far and near. This singular act could help build the city, state, or nation. People tend to be fascinated by art and the more a place has many artistic works the more the place gets recognition as people will be super excited to travel down there to see different artworks. It has the power to uplift, inspire, and bring people together.

People in the society also tends to make a living from their art. Creativity at its peak. People are able to earn money from sales of their crafts, drawings and lot more. In this way, the society has an increase in revenue.

When I got to the museum, I drew insights from so many things. The artwork over there is a powerful catalyst for societal change. It opens one鈥檚 mind to important historical events. The various sectors of art, have created a great impact on society. It has also brought about international connections between different nations.

Moreso, 21st-century art draws our minds to creativity, it opens society to explore possibilities of self-expression.

I think without Art we would have forgotten about several activities or people. We wouldn鈥檛 even have the slightest clue about most people. Art is something that has made society impeccable.
