Hello beautiful ladies, I just subscribed to this community and I can’t believe I didn’t figure this before today. Having read through the introduction, this community is bent on helping ladies and make them stand out.
My dear ladies I will like to point out that am not a FEMINIST and this writing is not about a lady doing more than a man can do quotes. I will suggest you keep your mind off me trashing our hardworking men and just read with a full glass of expectations because you will get them met.
Personally, as a growing lady, I will not want to settle for the lies our forefathers said as regarding what a woman should do and what she shouldn’t do. We have been told that we are made for the kitchen and all we should do are the house chores. Then, when we make mention about building an empire, the society sees it as a fallacy and joke.
Permit me to say that some ladies are currently living a life for their children and husbands. Don’t get me wrong ladies, I am not saying having children and getting married is not a good decision but what happens when you lay down your dreams to do all these.
The end point will surely be void of success and fulfillment.So, when a lady stands up for herself and her future, she is regarded as a very ambitious lady who will end up not being submissive to her future husband.
Let me talk to the single ladies who have got enough goals and plans for themselves. I don’t care if you think I am saying this out of selfishness but I will rather accomplish all I need and want to before settling for marriage.
The whole notion of a lady getting married immediately after school is very disgusting but it is very smart to let a man achieve all that he wants before he can get married.
For a woman, marriage is always the next thing dished out by the society once she is done with her B.Sc. This can only be seen as a very lame way of thinking and it amazes me to why women are always given the how-to-do and what-to-do syndromes by the society.
Now, I will be leaving you ladies with this end note and I hope you find solace as you read the last paragraph because I am fully in support of an independent, financially free and over ambitious lady and we are never going to get apologetic about it.
If you have a dream, pursue it so well now that you are single because when you get married, your attention will be divided and having to fulfill all of your dreams will be limited.
The society is going to spit negative talks and try to make you feel bad for wanting to be successful but stay focused my queens and keep moving. It is never going to be easy and never think being ambitious as a lady is weird or wrong even if the society frowns at it. The society has its reality and you have your reality.
