( EN / DE ) Here in the city, there is usually only the so-called house sparrow, which over the millennia has probably adapted very well to life near human beeings.
So I see these cute little guys mostly in the gardens of cafes, where they cheekily search for anything that can be eaten.
Hier in der Stadt gibt es meist nur den sogenannten Haus-Sperling, der sich über die Jahrtausende wohl sehr gut an das Leben in der Nähe von Menschen angepasst hat.
So sehe ich diese süssen, kleinen Kerlchen eigentlich meistens in den Gastgärten von Cafehäusern, wo sie keck und frech nach allem suchen, das nur irgendwie gefuttert werden kann.
This little guy here was bouncing back and forth so fast that the camera could mostly only catch him out of focus. But he was totally nice, because he was so curious whether I do have a breadcrumb for him somewhere:
Dieser kleine Kerl hier ist so schnell hin und her gehüpft, dass die Kamera ihn zumeist nur unscharf erwischen konnte. Aber er war total nett, weil er so neugierig war, ob ich nicht doch irgendwo einen Brotkrümel für ihn habe:
