What is a job interview
Everyone knows that Job interview is no other than a state where an admin or manager of a company ask series of questions to see if I am competent to fill the position I applied for.
An interview invitation comes in based on our Curriculum vitae and the credentials we forwarded to the company as an application for such position.
Most people do not succeed in some job interview because they couldn't defend what their Curriculum vitae says about them, they end up disgracing themselves and losing such position.
Now ask yourself what I say about myself on my Curriculum vitae ist really what I do? Can I really defend myself ?
To succeed in a job interview one must know the basic steps of his or her field.
One must prove that he or she is a team worker and is always ready to accept corrections and reduce too much talking, do not just say yes or no to a question rather try as much as possible to make a sentence.
Before going for a job interview rehearse some important question, know the answers and you will come victorious in a job interview, also make some research to get some clue about the company so as know if it's what you really want.
Relax and do not be nervous and anxious but at the same time do not be overconfident.
This takes my mind back to my first job interview as a nurse, I was so nervous that my employee noticed that and sent my out for a couple minutes, I took a walk and came back, when I came back I was calm and was able to secure the job for myself.
I learned not to be nervous during job interview because it can disorganize the person.
Now let's walk in for an interview for the position of a nurse
Nursing job is one of the hectic job one can do but there are so many benefits that comes from doing it.
Because life is involved the employees takes much time and ask so many questions to be sure the nurse is really a nurse.
A nurse walking in for a job interview should know the basic duty of a nurse, she should also understand that the employee or manager will focus on her presentation and confidence during the course of the interview.
Based on that a nurse should be bold during interview, a nurse should be able to convince the employee that she's capable to attend to emergencies without making silly mistake before the doctor comes in.
Basic nursing procedures or skill
To convince your employee a nurse should be familiar with medical terminology that are used in description of human bodies, treatment, and in medical procedures. a nurse should also be familiar with medical abbreviations in prescriptions.
A nurse should be familiar with principles of pharmacology this will help her to know what to do immediately a patient is reacting to a particular drugs or injection, it will also help her to dispense treatment accordingly.
It is very difficult for a nurse to get a job if she's not ready to learn or ready to work as a team not withstanding her qualification, Nurses have regular conversation with the doctors and the patient so a nurse should be open for communication.
In conclusion
To come out successful in a job interview always research more about the company, have a solid reason why you want to work with the company, how you will add value to the company and why you are resigning from your recent job.
With all this in mind you will surely succeed either in a nurse interview or in a general working interview.
