I know you will be wondering who's Michael and who is Blessing and Gift.
Am Gift and Blessing is my bossom christian friend, Micheal was the guy that wanted to marry Blessing before now.
Whatever happens to love
Blessing met Michael during their secondary school years, both of them started dating at a tender age, blessing came from a poor family likewise Michael.
Michael's family loved Blessing soo much and the mother adviced her to give this young man sometime that he will get better.
One outstanding quality of Michael then was that he was industrious so this made me believe that Michael has the ability to achieve financial freedom in the future.
Despite his financial instability he was still doing his best for blessing, he always paid her bills tho not when Blessing wants it but he never failed to pay her bill's.
Initially Blessing loved Michael so much and never wanted anything that will separate both of them but at time goes on blessing Started making friends with ladies who were dating already made rich guys then and this created some doubt in the mind of Blessing.
Gradually the love Blessing had for Michael depreciated to the point that blessing decided to quit relationship with Michael.
When she approached me with her decision I told her that that was wrong because no one knows tomorrow, the fact that humans do not have the ability to see what the future will be makes it difficult to decide what your fellow human can achieve tomorrow.
I told Blessing that all Michael needs was her support both emotionally physically and spiritually but because blessings heart was already made up by what she's see happening to her other friends she decided to quit relationship.
Michael was bittered and heartbroken but I told him to do his best and prove blessing wrong and he promised things that he would try his best and I believe in him.
Later on through the assistant of those friends Blessing got a guy who had money and she accepted and married a guy, I was so upset that I didn't attend to the wedding.
Just after 6 months the guy was arrested over fraud act, an unfortunately Blessing was already pregnant for him, the guy was imprison for 4 years and Blessing give birth to twins a boy and a girl.
Life became so difficult for blessing, she kept on running to her family for help, after few years when the husband came back from prison he was no more rich and life was miserable for him, in fact he turned to an addict and that made the marriage a very difficult one for Blessing and the children, he was now so fraustated and will always beat Blessing, there was no money to pay their bills.
During a conversation I ask her "do you think you made the right decision?"
She answered "is it not obvious that I make the wrong one?"
I reminded her that I told her that the future is pregnant and no one knows the gender of the child that the future is going to give birth to, I told her life was better with Michael the man he knew better.
Tho the deed has been done but the consequences is still thicking.
The surprise.
So on that faithful day I went to the market and I stumbled on Michael, he drove his mom to the market and was waiting for her, so when he saw me he asked me "how is Blessing?"I couldn't lie to him, I told him how difficult life has been for Blessing and she won't mind if he can help because it was very difficult for her then.
Michael is now a successful businessman and he's married to a beautiful wife with two children, I was so happy for him because I always saw him at someone who will add value to his life no matter what it takes him and he didn't prove me a liar
So Michael promised to visit her, Michael came and she was surprised to see the Michael is now a rich man, she regretted ever leaving Michael for another man.
Blessing was negatively affected by the Domino effect of her decision, she was depressed and lived with regrets till today.
