Thank you all for the feedback on the proposal post yesterday. I've taken them all on board and made some changes to the logo.
Instead of a black background I opted for a dark grey and an even darker grey gradient. It's such a slight difference that it might as well be just one colour but I just don't want the background to be flat.
Going with the new preferred name Silver Gold Stackers I took off the community and repeated SGS instead.
I added more bling by layering a glitter background image over the hive logo.

Looking at it I reckon it could do with another edit. Maybe bring the rim in a bit and make the gold hive logo a tad smaller.
Or maybe even swap it around and use the glitter for the round background and black for the hive logo.
OR keep the silver gradient from edit #1 and use the gold glitter hive from this one.
OR I could totally change it up with a different idea.
