in some cases I think it's because they're restricted and other times I think they're restricted because they refuse to get off

I try to stay off my phone while she's up because I'm noticing her intense fascination with my phone and other devices and she can only get that from seeing me on it.

Out every day sounds about right. I've been told that's usually the case with homeschoolers. I don't drive so I reckon I'm gonna have to get my license if were gonna be that busy!
