Depends on the kid. Mine have always had unfettered access to devices and when they were younger, being outside and doing stuff was more interesting and it was only when they hit the teens and online gaming and stuff that the devices became more interesting. Some of the other homeschooled kids we know range from having zero interest (the teenagers may have phones but aren't glued to them unless they're really bored) through to restricted access to screens and desperately wanting more (in some cases I think it's because they're restricted and other times I think they're restricted because they refuse to get off) all the way to full on screen addicts.

I do miss the tiny fun times XD current stuff is alright too, just different :)

We weren't affected as much, there was no community transmission at any stage, all the cases we had were people coming home. We had to keep signing in and out of gymnastics for a while but last week of last term we stopped doing that.

You're generally about as busy as you want to/allow the kids to be. I'm out every day because there's activities on every day, and this isn't even counting the excursions and things which I have yet to start back up, I'm kind of in a permanent state of confusion atm x_x If you have a quieter lifestyle and kids who don't have insane social lives you might find yourself able to stay home a lot more.
