Yeh I figured I was being precious. And I do agree, a fall from the crib would be far worse than a bed fall.

I showed hubby the sidecar idea and hes concerned she could still fall off at the corner where the crib ends. Basically he wants the crib just shoved next to the bed with the rail up just in case I need to leave the bed I can chuck her in there and she'll be safe.

All I can think of is the late late night feeds. As it is I can't leave her once she's in for the night cos 8 times out of 10 she wakes up when I leave the bed 🤦🏻‍♀️
