Well, they weren't kidding when they said time flies when you're having fun.

I was asking about bitcoin on my facebook page 3 years ago and next thing I know I'm on the Steemit page signing up.

It took a week for my account to be approved and I remember thinking, what the heck? Isn't sign ups instant these days? What's going on here? (Welcome to Steemit eh?!)

Then I found out they gave me stake to the company to start off with and I was like.. WHOAA 😱. OK that was worth the wait.

I remember how happy I was when I earned 50 cents on my first post and then thinking, is this place for real? Why isn't everyone on this?

2017

I will always think of 2017 as the Golden Year of crypto.

So much happened that year.

I was privileged to witness and be a part of a lot of communities coming to life.

I made a lot of new friends.

I also made a hell of a lot of banners.
(Now they can be automated... Gotta love technology and the brainy geniuses behind them.)

I also designed the first ever Steem coin

Ahhh those were the days...

Now here I am on Hive, waiting for my SP to power down..

It's also my baby gender reveal anniversary today...

Seems I have a lot to celebrate on the 13th of June ❤

To think it's been a year since we found out we're having a little girl.

And now she's out and adept at the old army crawl.

Amazing how life turns out.
