And just like that, she's 7 months old.
I can't remember the last time I posted an update. Everything over here is changing so quickly and it feels like I never have enough hours to get everything I need to do done.
I'm at least 2 months behind on my daily photos... It's gotten to the point where I get anxiety when I think about doing them. 🤦🏻♀️ What was I thinking?! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Lots has happened and lots of progress, yet some things remain the same.
She's now on solids. Ok not quite solid solids but you know what I mean.
There was a 2 week transition period where her body was getting used to food and she was constipated for days which was a worry since she has always pooped every day.
I remember thinking the best Mum day present she could give me was a big poop 😆 I'm happy to say things are back to normal now.
Food wise she's not too fussy and likes most things, mainly fruit. She also feeds herself, we just put food in her feeders and she does the rest.
Another big change is her sitting up on her own.
I actually prefer her sitting up cos she stays in one spot. Well, she did for about 4 days, then she figured out how to lower herself gently so she can roll.. and roll.. and roll... to her destination.
Basically she's pretty mobile now and I reckon she's a week or two away from crawling..
Yep. Fun times ahead.... 🥴🥴
Another huge change is the weather.
Winter is truly upon us now and we've had some really cold days up here. Single digit temps but thankfully not in the minus.
These days she's got at least 2 layers on. It's been hard figuring out the right layers and fabric weights but I think I finally got it right with the micro fleece.
The hoodie part was a bit of a miss though and I really should have thought about it and realised it wouldn't be safest thing to wear for her. So now the hood stays tucked inside and only comes out when we are outside and she's supervised.
One thing's the same.
She's still a happy baby.
Definitely a lot more curious and cheeky, but she still smiles often and easily.
She's a pretty awesome baby ❤
