I'll be honest, I'm feeling the squeeze. Clientelle of mine are retiring left and right. You guessed correctly if you thought they are the baby boomers. Yup, near the end of the economic cycle most of these elders are just living it up and vacationing. Sure they built a lot, but it was also easier for a janitor, or a librarian to get a house of their own.
It's no wonder a place like France which has protests almost daily for things such as upping the retirement age. To be honest its not just the baby boomers which are going to create a huge hole in the economy, but the unlimited printing and ponzi pension schemes. The schemes we pay into for pension are for these folks. Just like in the UK they could not default on their pension plans because many of the boombers need those pensions. imagine the class that paid into this ponzi do not see the payout for the next few years. To be fair they have been paying, but to be also fair they ignored the senseless money printing.
How this ends is anyone's guess. Serfdom seems baked in the cake.
