When it comes to voting for government many people opt out. Many believe that there aren’t too many differences between the US 🇺🇸 parties; Republican or Democrat. There are other parties of course, but in the US it’s basically just two.
In Canada 🇨🇦 I would say it’s three parties. Two parties basically rule while weakest is a watered down form of liberal-socialism. The party that is barely a step above is the liberal party (now
a majority). In any case the socialist ideals are everywhere and inescapable. The only other challenging party are the “conservatives” which are barely holding on to conservative valus. There is a good sniff of social “progression” within this party as well; just not as bad.
A couple of friend’s said, “f-it, I’m not voting for anyone”. My response is pretty much of understanding; but inaction doesn’t always help either. In any case they didn’t bother to vote. Suffice it to say the party that will quicken the pain (the liberals) were elected.
Another friend of mine said, “does any of this really matter? Just stay positive and it will be positive. Dumbfounded I really didn’t have an opinion; rather I wish it were that easy.
In the end though, the ones to put their heads in the ground might just be right on this one. Or they may wake up to all their rights taken away. But it’s true, in the end think positive. Ramblings of political satire are all over, everywhere, and throughout history.
Perhaps the waves of reality meaning day by day, hour by hour etc.. are just cyclical. Civilization rebuilding from its fall. Whether it be by guns or peaceful resolution, my participation may tip the balance. On the other hand would it really matter if I participated in the charade? There is a time and place for everything. Perhaps I’m not sticking my head in he ground. Maybe i’m just wearing a hoody to catch some zzz’s in the middle.
