Do you guys remember this?
Perhaps the younger steemians here don’t remember or even know of The OJ Simpson trial. This was before Fox News was available in Canada. I was in high school and when I came home, I watched my mother glued to the television. She watched that stupid trial all day, and CNN was the only game in town.
CNN was also grossly covering the Clinton impeachment in 1998.
So now CNN is completely fake news, and Fox news “appears” to be more legit. Now don’t get me wrong, CNN is fake news and I prefer Fox over it..But just watching Fox as of late, it just sounds and feels like the same old shit.
90% of the time it’s just talk talk talk blah blah blah. This is corrupt that is corrupt blah blah blah.
Is it me? Am I just jaded? Why do I feel it’s just the same old packaged crap with a different colored bow. Why do I want to throw something at the television? It’s like people just talk all day long covering people in suits who act corrupt.
But nothing ever gets done. It’s just ratings. It may occasionally be the truth, but nothing changes. We didn’t drain the swamp, we just switched the locale.
Sigh
Just venting as I usually do over steemit. I don’t know. I guess King Solomon was right when he said, “nothing is new under the sun”.
