When the economy is contracting it's old school thinking to call it a recession! Thank goodness we have the FED and the media!
The "National Bureau of Economic Research which is the 'official' arbitor of recession is really knowing what a recession is all about.
Economy produces less? So what?
People paying more for everything you need? So what?
I think at the height of any empire there is so much disinformation and this is not coming from the 'fringe' side. But in such a declining empire you see a lot of division, disingormation and outright corruption from the central planners. So really there is nothing to believe anymore. It's all fantasy land. When will they pivot back into printing? Well I bet they are still printing albeit under the fog of war. Who is the war on? It would seem the little people.
