Hey there, Splinterlanders!

This is a small post about why DEC is my kryptonite. Every time it dips below PEG, I think, “Let’s stack up and hold for the next big thing!”—but let’s be real… it never lasts. 😆

Case in point: I had 200K DEC reserved for CA (yep, you read that right—had 200K).

The problem? Whenever I have DEC sitting in my wallet, there’s always something tempting to spend it on. Sometimes it’s expanding my land, sometimes it’s a card I’ve wanted for ages… and this time?

I have to call you out on this one, psilence@psilence—this is entirely your fault! 🤣 I lost a match against you, and you were using Almo Cambio.

I’ve always loved that card, but it was way too expensive… Until I checked MonsterMarket and saw it for $49 (66K DEC). One glance at Almo’s stats and I thought, “This will definitely help me win more games.” Boom—more DEC gone.

So now, here I am—figuring out how to replenish my DEC reserves and prepare (again) for CA.

The Bright Side of DEC Spenders

Honestly, though? This is what makes Splinterlands great. There’s always something to invest in, something to build toward, and new ways to expand. Whether it’s land, cards, or the next big update, the game keeps us engaged and growing.

Just a quick post about the game I love—hope you all have better luck holding onto your DEC… or at least have fun spending it all! 😆💰
