Our bee problem settled down last night, but this morning they were back and doubling down:
I wouldn't mind if they picked a corner of the yard, but right next to the front door is a bit awkward. They're crawling through gaps and cracks and ending up inside the house too. We've put tape over the cracks for now and I've sent a message to a beekeeping buddy.
