A couple of weeks ago I wrote the 1st part on this topic which is based on the combinations of the "Soulbound" summoners with the powerful "Gladius" cards, where I detail the compositions of the Splinters "Fire, Water and Earth", so, the time has come to complete the 2nd part and detail 2 more splinter which are; "Life and Death", being pending the "Dragon Splinter", which, is special and deserves that I cover a complete publication only for this one, since, we all know the possibilities and the many combinations that we can make playing with the "Dragon" team, due to the particularity that we can play it with any element that we wish or better said, that we are allowed at that moment.
Battles of The Day: Coastal Sentry
I am really liking several cards of the new rewards, at least the ones I know, since I have not yet been able to see the whole set of new cards, there are already several of them that I will keep in my collection as they have been quite useful. One of those cards is the one that stars today's post, which is: Coastal Sentry, a melee type card that has a pretty good set of stats and an ability that is very effective in various situations. Coastal Sentry is a card that I really want to raise it even more LVL for future improvements, but before starting and showing today's battles with Coastal Sentry, after a long time, I finally had one of my best rewards in a long time, not only because I got five golden rare cards and a pack of the Chaos Legion edition, but I also got two golden legendaries of the new edition of rewards cards, something that took me completely by surprise, not only because it is a golden legendary, but they are TWO, crazy. But anyway, these are the two battles of the day with the card: Coastal Sentry.

Opportunity Abilities: The Best Way to Eliminate Enemy Monsters! [PT/EN]
In Splinterlands monsters can have the most diverse skills, each with its characteristics and purposes. In our battles we can create many strategies based on skills and even combinations of monsters with different skills, the synergy between them can bring good results.
Some skills will indicate that monsters have different inclinations, be it support, defense or offense. Each player has the possibility to create their compositions based on defending, attacking or balancing these two types of possibilities. Occasions written by the battle rules or mana conditions make certain aspects better used or not and this is a choice that we must pay attention to when formulating our team.

Hello everyone! I'm Lorentm, and I'm excited to share with you my latest digital artwork. Recently, I participated in the social media section that Splinterlands organizes every week, and I decided to create a fan art of the character "Mimosa Nightshade" in the Simpsons style.
For this project, I wanted to give Mimosa a youthful and vibrant style, and I knew Lisa Simpsons would be the perfect choice to inspire me. I loved the idea of merging the elegance and mystery of Mimosa with the energy and youthfulness of Lisa, and I think the end result is amazing!

ILTHAIN is a Epic Life Summoner belonging to the Riftwatchers edition that gives all friendly Monsters +1 speed and the Return Fire Ability. Speed is very important in battles, so faster Monsters have an attack priority, and Monsters with increased speed have a better chance of avoiding enemy attacks. Also, the Return Fire Ability is a ability that can be very effective against Ranged Attack Monsters because Monster with Return Fire Ability does damage back to the attacker, when hit with a Ranged Attack. That's why I would never hesitate to choose ILTHAIN as the Summoner if I feel that the opposing player will prefer Ranged Attack Monsters. Also, when you combine Monsters with the Return Fire Ability with Monsters with the Amplify Ability, they are much more effective and much more brutal against Ranged Attack Monsters.
