To my wrestling fans, I welcome you all into the new year filled with different events to make the year interesting and busy for us all, tickets have been on sale for a while now for the first event of the year in WWE. The year began with the weekly raw event and smackdown event which has been on with different vibes but we are yet to start the main events of the year surprisingly here comes the first interesting and entertaining main event of the year from WWE which is ROYAL RUMBLE.
This event of a lifetime will be broadcasted live from Alamodome in San Antonio and also on pay-per-view.
How does royal rumble works?
The royal rumble match is a professional wrestling match based on the classic battle royal match in which several wrestlers traditionally thirty (30)aimed at eliminating their competitors by tossing them over the top rope, with both feet touching the ground. Royal rumble is divided into two (2) men and women royal rumble, royal rumble has been in the existence since 1988 and it is considered the main event except there is an objection.
Royal rumble is a preparation ground for the epic wrestle mania event and now it has come and go for the year 2023 leaving people with smiles on their faces and probably surprises on how one can win over the other. Out of all the matches, my favorites are romaReignss bianca belair, the men's royal rumble, and the women's royal rumble matches respectively.
Alexa bliss and Bianca Belair's match was an interesting one because it was a match for the WWE raw women's championship, a lot would have thought that will be the end of Bianca's reign but surprisingly she managed to retain her title. Bianca is a strong woman who never gives up and that keeps helping her in her career she is on her way to WrestleMania.
And the most interesting of the match all is roman reigns with Kevin Owens, it was with so much pressure that the WWE fans watch the match because Kevin Owens tried his best to defeat the undisputed universal champion roman reigns but in the end, the champion retains his championship and with so much pride the Uso brothers with their uncle matched off the stage.
The women's royal rumble was so interesting with fans having the mindset of different participants in mind who probably might win the rumble but unfortunately for some people, it might not have gone as it should be. Rhea Ripley being the first in the ring before being joined by the other wrestlers' lasted longer in the tournament as she claimed victory by becoming the winner of the 2023 women's royal rumble by eliminating Asuka and Liv Morgan.
With gladness in my heart, the fans cheer up for the men's royal rumble match, many would have thought brock lesnar or bobby lashley would win but surprisingly Cody Rhodes changed the game and earn himself an opportunity at WrestleMania.
Royal rumble has ended and as a lover of wrestling, I am eagerly waiting for the next epic event because royal rumble was rated the number 1 trending sport in the United States yesterday during the event and extended till today. I will love to invite you to my beautiful world, you also can be a lover of wrestling.
